In the name of Allah, I seek refuge in Allah the Almighty from the evil of every vein (or cause of pain), and from the evil of heat and cold.

Source & Authentication

Narrated by Abdullah bin ‘Amr (may Allah be pleased with him): The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) taught us a prayer to recite in case of fever or any illness: ‘Bismillahi, ta'awwadhu billahil-'adheemi min sharri kulli 'areeqin, wa min sharri harri an-naar.' (In the name of Allah, I seek refuge in Allah the Almighty from the evil of every vein, and from the evil of the heat of the Fire). Abdullah bin ‘Amr used to teach this prayer to those of his children who were able to memorize it and to write it down and put it in a ring for some of his family members.
