Duas for sincere repentance and turning back to Allah
O Allah, I ask You to enable me to do good deeds, and to abandon evil deeds, and to love the poor. And when You intend for Your creation a trial, take me to Yourself without having subjected me to it. I ask You for Your love, and the love of those who love You, and the love of deeds which bring me closer to Your love.
Our Lord, forgive me and my parents and the believers the Day the account is established.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the punishment of the grave, and from the punishment of Hellfire, and from the trials of life and death, and from the evil of the trial of the False Messiah (Dajjal).
O Allah, forgive me my errors, my ignorance, my excess in my affairs, and whatever You know better than I. O Allah, forgive me my jesting and my seriousness, my unintentional and intentional sins, and my resolve and my jesting, all of that is with me.
O Allah, forgive me all my sins, the minor and the major, the first and the last, the open and the secret. And turn to me in repentance, indeed You are the Accepter of Repentance, the Merciful.
O Allah, I seek refuge in Your pleasure from Your displeasure, and in Your forgiveness from Your punishment, and I seek refuge in You from You. I cannot count Your praises; You are as You have praised Yourself.
O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your female-servant. My forelock is in Your hand. Your decree concerning me is inevitable, and Your justice concerning me is a must. I ask You by every name belonging to You, which You have revealed in Your Book, or You have taught to any one of Your creation, or You have retained in Your knowledge of the unseen with You, to make the Qur'an the spring of my heart, and the light of my chest, the banisher of my grief, and the remover of my worries.
O Allah, forgive me, have mercy upon me, guide me, protect me (grant me well-being), and provide for me.
O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your maidservant. My forelock is in Your hand. Your command over me is ever effective, and Your decision concerning me is just. I ask You by every name that You have called Yourself, or taught to any one of Your creation, or revealed in Your Book, or kept hidden in the knowledge of the unseen with You, to make the Qur'an the spring of my heart, the light of my chest, the banisher of my grief, and the reliever of my worries.
O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your maidservant. My forelock is in Your hand. Your judgment upon me is effective. Your decree concerning me is just. I ask You by every name that You have called Yourself, or revealed in Your Book, or taught to any of Your creation, or kept exclusively unto Yourself in the knowledge of the unseen, that You make the Qur'an the springtime of my heart, the light of my chest, the remover of my sadness, and the banisher of my worries. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from helplessness and laziness, from cowardice and decrepitude, from stinginess and hardness of heart, from heedlessness and malice, from poverty and humiliation, and from disgrace. And I seek refuge in You from the evil of my hearing, my sight, my tongue, my heart, and my fluid.
Our Lord, do not impose blame upon us if we have forgotten or erred. Our Lord, and lay not upon us a burden like that which You laid upon those before us. Our Lord, and burden us not with that which we have no ability to bear. And pardon us; and forgive us; and have mercy upon us. You are our Protector, so give us victory over the disbelieving people.
By Your name, my Lord, I lie down and by Your name I rise. If You should take my soul, then have mercy upon it. And if You should return my soul, then protect it with what You protect Your righteous servants.
