Duas for sincere repentance and turning back to Allah
O Allah, I ask Your forgiveness for what I have done and what I have left undone, for what I have concealed and what I have done openly, and for what You know better than I. You are the One Who sends forth and the One Who delays; there is no god but You.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the disappearance of Your blessings, and the reversal of the wellness You granted, and the suddenness of Your punishment, and all of Your displeasure. And I seek refuge in You from the hardship of distress, and the attainment of misery, and the evil of fate, and the rejoicing of enemies.
Our Lord, we have wronged ourselves, and if You do not forgive us and have mercy upon us, we will surely be among the losers.
O Allah, I ask You for steadfastness in all affairs, and resolve in following the right path. I ask You for the grace to be thankful for Your blessings and to worship You in the best manner. I ask You for a sound heart and a truthful tongue. I ask You for the good that You know, and I seek refuge in You from the evil that You know. I ask Your forgiveness for what You know, for You are the Knower of the unseen.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the evil of my soul, and from the evil of every moving creature You are seizing by its forelock. Verily, my Lord is on a straight path. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the disappearance of Your blessings, and the sudden change of Your protection, and the awful vengeance of Your punishment, and all Your displeasure.
O Allah, indeed I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your female servant. My forelock is in Your hand. Your command over me is forever executed. Your decision regarding me is just. I ask You by every name that You have called Yourself, or revealed to any of Your creation, or sent down in Your Book, or have preserved in the knowledge of the unseen with You, that You make the Qur'an the springtime of my heart, and the light of my chest, the banisher of my sadness, and the reliever of my distress.
Our Lord, forgive us our sins and our extravagance in our affair and make firm our feet and give us victory over the disbelieving people. O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your maidservant. My forelock is in Your hand. Your command over me is ever effective, and Your decree concerning me is just. I ask You by every name that You have called Yourself, or revealed it to anyone from Your creation, or You taught it to anyone from Your creation, or You have kept it to Yourself in the knowledge of the unseen with You, that You make the Qur'an the spring of my heart, and the light of my chest, the banisher of my sadness, and the reliever of my distress.
O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your female servant. My forelock is in Your hand. Your command over me is effective, and Your decree concerning me is just. I ask You by every name that You have called Yourself, or revealed in Your Book, or taught to any of Your creation, or kept exclusively to Yourself in the knowledge of the unseen which You possess, that You make the Quran the springtime of my heart, the light of my chest, the remover of my grief, and the dispeller of my worries.
There is no god but You; Glory be to You, O Allah, and all praise is Yours. I seek Your forgiveness for my sin and I ask You by Your mercy.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the demolition of Your blessings, the transformation of Your well-being, the suddenness of Your vengeance, and all of Your displeasure.
