Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to say: 'O Allah, I ask You for guidance, piety, chastity, and richness (need of others).' In another narration, he said: 'O Allah, I ask You for guidance, righteousness, chastity, and freedom from want.' Another narration: 'O Allah, I ask You for health, and the first and the last (health), and the good in this life and the Hereafter. O Allah, I ask You for success in all affairs, and I ask You for the will to do good deeds and to avoid evil deeds, and to love the poor. O Allah, I ask You to love me and to love the needy, and to forgive me and to have mercy upon me. And when You intend for Your servants a trial, then take me to Yourself without falling into it.'
