Duas for seeking protection from evil
I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah from the evil of what He has created.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the disappearance of Your blessings, the reversal of the wellness You granted, the suddenness of Your punishment, and all that displeases You. I seek refuge in You from the trials of the grave and the punishment of the grave, and from the evil of the trials of wealth, and the evil of the trials of poverty. And I seek refuge in You from the evil of the trials of the Dajjal. O Allah, cleanse my heart with the water of snow and hail, and purify my heart from sins just as You purified the white garment from dirt, and keep me far from my sins just as You kept the East far from the West. O Allah, I ask You for guidance and piety, chastity and contentment. And I seek refuge in You from the hardships of trials, the pangs of misery, evil decrees, and the rejoicing of enemies. O Allah, I ask You for steadfastness in all matters, and determination to follow the right path. I ask You to enable me to be grateful for Your favors and to worship You well. I ask You for a sound heart and a truthful tongue. And I seek refuge in You from the evil of what You know, and I ask You for the good of what You know, and I seek Your forgiveness for that which You know. Indeed, You are the Knower of the unseen.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the fading of Your favors, and the change of Your protection, and the suddenness of Your punishment, and all of Your displeasure. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from distress and sorrow, and I seek refuge in You from helplessness and laziness, and I seek refuge in You from cowardice and miserliness, and I seek refuge in You from being overwhelmed by debt and overcome by men.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from knowledge that does not benefit, from a heart that does not fear You, from a soul that is never satisfied, and from a supplication that is not answered.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the demolition of Your blessings, the reversal of Your well-being, the suddenness of Your vengeance, and all that You decree of Your displeasure. I seek refuge in You from the distress of affliction, the attainment of misery, the evil of destiny, and the rejoicing of enemies.
O Allah, grant my soul its taqwa (consciousness of You), and purify it, for You are the best of those who purify it. You are its Guardian and its Master. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from knowledge that does not benefit, from a heart that does not fear (You), from a soul that is not satisfied, and from a supplication that is not heard.
In the name of Allah is its running [course] and its docking. Indeed, my Lord is Forgiving and Merciful.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the cessation of Your blessings, the turning of Your well-being, the suddenness of Your vengeance, and all Your displeasure. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from demolition, I seek refuge in You from falling headlong, I seek refuge in You from being overwhelmed by desires, and I seek refuge in You from stumbling upon the earth or from being disgraced in religion.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the evil of my hearing, and from the evil of my sight, and from the evil of my tongue, and from the evil of my heart, and from the evil of my discharge (semen).
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the hardship of calamity, from the reach of misery, from evil decree, and from the rejoicing of enemies.
