Protection
Sahih HadithSahih Muslim 2708

O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the disappearance of Your blessings, the reversal of the wellness You granted, the suddenness of Your punishment, and all that displeases You. I seek refuge in You from the trials of the grave and the punishment of the grave, and from the evil of the trials of wealth, and the evil of the trials of poverty. And I seek refuge in You from the evil of the trials of the Dajjal. O Allah, cleanse my heart with the water of snow and hail, and purify my heart from sins just as You purified the white garment from dirt, and keep me far from my sins just as You kept the East far from the West. O Allah, I ask You for guidance and piety, chastity and contentment. And I seek refuge in You from the hardships of trials, the pangs of misery, evil decrees, and the rejoicing of enemies. O Allah, I ask You for steadfastness in all matters, and determination to follow the right path. I ask You to enable me to be grateful for Your favors and to worship You well. I ask You for a sound heart and a truthful tongue. And I seek refuge in You from the evil of what You know, and I ask You for the good of what You know, and I seek Your forgiveness for that which You know. Indeed, You are the Knower of the unseen.

Allahumma inni a'udhu bika min zawaali ni'matika, wa tahawwuli 'aafiyatika, wa fujaa'ati niqmatika, wa jamee'i sakhatika, wa a'udhu bika min fitnatil-qabri, wa 'adhabil-qabri, wa sharri fitnatil-ghinaa, wa sharri fitnatil-faqr, wa a'udhu bika min sharri fitnatil-Maseehid-Dajjaal. Allahumma aghsil qalbi bimath-thalaaji wal-baradi, wa naqqi qalbi minal-khataayaa kamaa naqqaytath-thawbal-abyadha minad-danasi, wa baa'id baini wa baina khataayaa kamaa baa'adta bainal-mashriqi wal-maghribi. Allahumma inni as'alukal-hudaa wat-tuqaa, wal-'afaafa wal-ghinaa, wa a'udhu bika min jahdil-balaa'i, wa darakish-shaqaa'i, wa su'il-qadaa'i, wa shamaatatil-a'daa'i. Allahumma inni as'alukath-thabaata fil-amri, wal-'azeemata 'alar-rushdi, wa as'aluka shukra ni'matika, wa husna 'ibaadatika, wa as'aluka qalban saleeman, wa lisaanan saadiqan, wa a'udhu bika min sharri maa ta'lamu, wa as'aluka min khairi maa ta'lamu, wa astaghfiruka mimmaa ta'lamu, innaka anta 'allaamul-ghuyoobi.
