Duas taught by Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him)
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the evil of my hearing, and from the evil of my sight, and from the evil of my tongue, and from the evil of my heart, and from the evil of my semen/discharge.
O Allah, make our children keepers of Your Book, guardians of Your limits, leaders in Your religion, supporters of Your party, friends of Your favors, supporters of Your pleasure, supporters of Your Messenger, and lovers of all Your allegiance. Make them righteous offspring from me. Place them under Your care, protection, and guardianship. Protect them from the evil of all that is bad, from the evil of Satan, from the evil of the ruler, and from the evil of this world and the Hereafter. Clothe them with the garments of health, well-being, and safety, and the soundness of religion, this world, and the Hereafter. And protect us through them from the evil of ourselves and the evil of others.
O Allah, grant my soul its piety, and purify it, for You are the best to purify it. You are its Guardian and its Master. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from knowledge that does not benefit, from a heart that does not fear (You), from a soul that is not satisfied, and from a supplication that is not answered.
O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, good provision, and acceptable deeds.
O Allah, make my soul content, and cause me to die as a believer.
In the name of Allah we enter, and in the name of Allah we leave, and in Allah our Lord we trust.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from anxiety and sorrow, weakness and laziness, miserliness and cowardice, the burden of debts and from being overpowered by men.
O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, pure provision, and accepted deeds.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from knowledge that does not benefit, from a heart that does not humble itself, from a soul that is not satisfied, and from a supplication that is not heard.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the cessation of Your blessings, the change of Your protection, the suddenness of Your wrath, and all of Your displeasure. And I seek refuge in You from poverty that makes one forget, and I seek refuge in You from harm that injures. And I seek refuge in You from wealth that makes one transgress, and I seek refuge in You from poverty that humiliates. And I seek refuge in You from worries that do not cease, and from sorrows that do not end. And I seek refuge in You from stumbling into misguidance, or being compelled into a matter for which I find no way out. O Allah, I ask You for steadfastness in the matter, and determination upon righteousness. And I ask You for gratitude for Your blessings and excellence in Your worship. And I ask You for a sound heart and a truthful tongue. And I ask You for the good of what You know, and I seek refuge in You from the evil of what You know. And I seek Your forgiveness for what You know, indeed You are the Knower of the unseen.
I seek refuge in Allah from the accursed Shaytan, and from his whispering, his puffing, and his incitement.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the evil of character, deeds, and desires.
