O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the cessation of Your blessings, the change of Your protection, the suddenness of Your wrath, and all of Your displeasure. And I seek refuge in You from poverty that makes one forget, and I seek refuge in You from harm that injures. And I seek refuge in You from wealth that makes one transgress, and I seek refuge in You from poverty that humiliates. And I seek refuge in You from worries that do not cease, and from sorrows that do not end. And I seek refuge in You from stumbling into misguidance, or being compelled into a matter for which I find no way out. O Allah, I ask You for steadfastness in the matter, and determination upon righteousness. And I ask You for gratitude for Your blessings and excellence in Your worship. And I ask You for a sound heart and a truthful tongue. And I ask You for the good of what You know, and I seek refuge in You from the evil of what You know. And I seek Your forgiveness for what You know, indeed You are the Knower of the unseen.

Allahumma inni a'udhu bika min zawali ni'matik, wa tahawwuli 'afiyatik, wa fuji'ati niqmatik, wa jami'i sakhatik. Wa a'udhu bika min fiqrin la yunsi, wa a'udhu bika min durrin yu'dhi, wa a'udhu bika min ghina yutghi, wa a'udhu bika min faqr yukhzi. Wa a'udhu bika min hammin la yanfakk, wa a'udhu bika min ghammin la yanqudi. Wa a'udhu bika an atakhabbata fid-dalalah, aw ukraha 'alal-amri alladhi la ajidu lahu sawaghan. Allahumma inni as'alukal-thabata fil-amr, wal-'azeemata 'alar-rushd, wa as'aluka shukra ni'matik, wa husna 'ibadatik. Wa as'aluka qalban saleeman, wa lisaanan sadiqan. Wa as'aluka min khayri ma ta'lam, wa a'udhu bika min sharri ma ta'lam, wa astaghfiruka lima ta'lam, innaka anta 'allamul-ghuyub.

Source & Authentication

The Hadith recorded in Sunan Abi Dawud (1540) describes this comprehensive supplication taught by the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. It is narrated by Abdullah ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) who said: "The Prophet ﷺ used to supplicate: 'O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the cessation of Your blessings, the change of Your protection, the suddenness of Your wrath, and all of Your displeasure. And I seek Your forgiveness for what You know, indeed You are the Knower of the unseen.'" The narrator mentions that some scholars consider this hadith to be Hasan.
