Duas during pregnancy, childbirth, and for newborns
May Allah bless you in His gift to you, may you give thanks to the Giver, may the child reach the age of maturity, and may you be granted its righteousness.
O Allah, grant him understanding in religion and teach him interpretation.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from anxiety and sorrow, from weakness and laziness, from miserliness and cowardice, and from the burden of debts and from being overpowered by men.
O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, good provision, and acceptable deeds.
I seek refuge for you in the Perfect Words of Allah from every devil and every poisonous creature, and from every envious eye. O Allah, make him pious and rightly guided, and make him among Your righteous servants.
In the name of Allah, O Allah, I ask You in it and call upon You by the right of those who ask and by the right of my deeds for Your sake, that You send blessings upon Muhammad and forgive me my sins. Indeed, no one forgives sins except You.
In the name of Allah, the soil of our land, mixed with the saliva of some of us, is a cure for our ailment, by the permission of our Lord.
O Allah, teach him the Book and wisdom.
O Allah, I ask You for well-being in this world and the Hereafter. O Allah, I ask You for pardon and well-being in my religion, my worldly affairs, my family, and my wealth. O Allah, conceal my weaknesses and set at ease my fears. O Allah, protect me from my front, my back, my right, my left, and from above me, and I seek refuge in Your Magnificence from being taken from beneath me.
I seek refuge for him in the perfect words of Allah from every devil and every venomous pest, and from every evil eye. O Allah, make him blessed.
May Allah bless you in His gift to you, may Allah reward the giver, may the child reach the prime of his strength, and may you be granted his righteousness.
May Allah bless you in the newborn, and make him/her dutiful to you in this world and the hereafter.
