Duas for strength in old age and caring for elderly parents
O Allah, forgive me for what I have sent forth and what I have delayed, what I have concealed and what I have declared, what I have transgressed, and what You know better about me. You are the Advancer and the Delayer; there is no god but You.
My Lord, establish prayer for me, and [also] my offspring. Our Lord, accept [my] supplication. Our Lord, forgive me and my parents and the believers the Day the ุญุณุงุจ (reckoning) is established.
O Allah, Lord of the seven heavens and what they have shaded, Lord of the earths and what they have carried, Lord of the devils and what they have misguided, be for me a neighbor from the evil of all Your creation, lest any of them rush upon me or transgress. Glorified are You! You are my Lord, there is no god but You. Neither the first nor the last can possess any benefit or harm for me. Protect me from before me and from behind me, from my right and from my left, and from above me. And I seek refuge in Your Magnificence from being overthrown from beneath me.
O Allah, forgive me, have mercy upon me, guide me, grant me well-being, and provide for me.
O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, goodly provision, and acceptable deeds.
O Allah! Grant guidance to my grandson and make him among Your righteous servants.
O Allah, I ask You for well-being in this world and the Hereafter. O Allah, I ask You for pardon and well-being in my religion, my worldly affairs, my family, and my wealth. O Allah, conceal my faults and calm my fears. O Allah, protect me from in front of me and from behind me, from my right and from my left, and from above me. I seek refuge in Your might lest I be consumed from beneath me.
O Allah, forgive me and my parents, and have mercy on them as they had mercy on me when I was young.
My Lord, forgive me and my parents, and have mercy upon them as they brought me up [when I was] small.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from decrepit old age and the evil of old age.
O Allah, forgive the Muslim men and women, and the believing men and women. Rectify the relations between them, and unite their hearts. Abandon those who abandon them, and grant them victory over those who overcome them. Honor them with Your mercy, O Most Merciful of the merciful. And forgive our parents, our grandparents, our ancestors, our relatives, and every Muslim man and woman, and every widow and orphan, and everyone who has a right over us, with Your mercy, O Most Merciful of the merciful.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from worry and grief. I seek refuge in You from helplessness and laziness. I seek refuge in You from cowardice and stinginess. And I seek refuge in You from the overwhelming of debt and the subjugation of men.
