Duas for nikah, wedding night, and marital harmony
Our Lord, grant us from Yourself mercy and prepare for us from our affair right guidance.
I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah from the evil of what He has created. In the name of Allah, with Whose name nothing can harm on earth or in heaven, and He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing.
O Allah, I ask You for its (the wife's/marriage's) goodness and the goodness of what You have created it with, and I seek refuge in You from its evil and the evil of what You have created it with.
O Allah, I ask You for steadfastness in the affair, and determination in following guidance. I ask You for the things that earn Your mercy, and the resolve to seek Your forgiveness. I ask You to grant me gratitude for Your blessings and excellence in worshipping You. I ask You for a sound heart and a truthful tongue. I ask You for the good You know, and I seek refuge in You from the evil I know. I ask Your forgiveness for what You know, indeed You are the Knower of the unseen.
Indeed, to Allah we belong and to Him we shall return. O Allah, reward me for my calamity and compensate me with something better than it.
O Allah, guide the best of my household, make them rightly guided guides, replace their bad companions with good ones, and replace their bad company with righteous company.
Our Lord, grant us from Yourself mercy and prepare for us from our affair a right direction.
O Allah, unite our hearts, and reconcile that which is between us, and guide us to the ways of peace, and deliver us from darkness into the light, and keep away from us shameful deeds, both apparent and hidden, and bless our hearing, our sight, our hearts, our wives, and our offspring, and turn to us (in mercy), for You are the All-Accepting, the Most Merciful.
O Allah, I ask You to make our children the delight of our eyes and the eyes of our spouses, and to bless us in our offspring, and to make them among Your righteous servants, and to grant them success in obeying You, and to guide them to the path of righteousness.
Our Lord, give us in this world [that which is] good and in the Hereafter [that which is] good and protect us from the punishment of the Fire.
O Allah, make us truly grateful for Your blessings, increasing in our appreciation for them. Reform our offspring for us, and make us among Your devoted remembrances. Perfect Your blessings upon us, have mercy on us, and help us in Your obedience, Your gratitude, and in worshipping You in the best manner.
O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your maidservant. My forelock is in Your hand. Your command over me is ever effective. Your decree concerning me is just. I ask You by every name that You have called Yourself, that You have taught to any one of Your creation, that You have revealed in Your Book, or that You have preserved in the knowledge of the unseen with You, that You make the Qur'an the delight of my heart, and the light of my breast, and a banisher of my sadness and a reliever of my anxiety.
