Virtues & Benefits
Seeking righteous offspring is a profound act of worship. Children who are guided and protected by Allah become a source of immense joy and a continuous stream of good deeds for their parents, even after the parents have passed away. The Quran tells us about the supplication of the believers: > **Arabic:** رَبَّنَا هَبْ لَنَا مِنْ أَزْوَاجِنَا وَذُرِّيَّاتِنَا قُرَّةَ أَعْيُنٍ وَاجْعَلْنَا لِلْمُتَّقِينَ إِمَامًا > **Translation:** "Our Lord, grant us from among our wives and our offspring comfort to our eyes and make us an example for the righteous." (Al-Furqan 25:74). Prophet Ibrahim (peace be upon him) also made a similar dua: > **Arabic:** رَبِّ هَبْ لِي مِنَ الصَّالِحِينَ > **Translation:** "My Lord, grant me from the righteous." (As-Saffat 37:100). Making such duas ensures that your children are nurtured with faith and good character, leading to a peaceful life and a strong legacy.
