Duas for comfort when feeling alone or isolated
O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your maidservant. My forelock is in Your hand. Your command over me is inevitable, and Your decree concerning me is just. I ask You by every Name that You have called Yourself, or revealed in Your Book, or taught to any of Your creation, or kept to Yourself in the hidden knowledge of You, that You make the Quran the spring of my heart, and the light of my chest, the banisher of my sorrow, and the reliever of my distress.
O Allah, I ask You to enable me to do good deeds, to avoid evil deeds, and to love the poor. I ask You to forgive me and have mercy on me. And if You intend to try a people with temptation, then take me to Yourself without being tried. I ask You for Your love, and the love of those who love You, and the love of deeds which bring me closer to Your love.
O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your female servant. My forelock is in Your hand. Your command over me is forever executed. Your decision concerning me is just. I ask You by every name that You have called Yourself, or revealed in Your Book, or taught to any one of Your creation, or kept exclusively to Yourself in the knowledge of the unseen which You possess, that You make the Qur'an the spring of my heart, and the light of my chest, the banisher of my grief, and the reliever of my anxiety.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from distress and sorrow, I seek refuge in You from incapacity and laziness, I seek refuge in You from cowardice and stinginess, and I seek refuge in You from the burden of debt and the oppression of men.
O Allah, I hope for Your mercy, so do not entrust me to my soul for the blink of an eye, and set right all my affairs. There is none worthy of worship except You.
O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, good provision, and acceptable deeds.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from worry and grief, from incapacity and laziness, from cowardice and stinginess, and from being overcome by debt and by the oppression of men.
Our Lord, grant us from among our spouses and our offspring the coolness of our eyes, and make us an example for the righteous.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from distress and sorrow, and I seek refuge in You from helplessness and laziness, and I seek refuge in You from cowardice and stinginess, and I seek refuge in You from being overwhelmed by debt and from being overcome by men.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from grief and sadness, and I seek refuge in You from incapacity and laziness, and I seek refuge in You from cowardice and stinginess, and I seek refuge in You from being overwhelmed by debt and from the subjugation of men.
O Allah, Lord of the seven heavens and all that they cover, Lord of the earths and all that they hold, Lord of the devils and all that they mislead, be my neighbor (protector) from the evil of all Your creation, lest any of them should break in upon me or transgress against me. Mighty is Your protection, and blessed is Your name. There is no god but You.
O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your female servant. My forelock is in Your hand. Your command over me is effective, and Your decision concerning me is just. I ask You by every name that You have called Yourself, or revealed in Your Book, or taught to any of Your creation, or kept unto Yourself in the knowledge of the unseen which is with You, to make the Qur'an the springtime of my heart, the light of my chest, the banisher of my sadness, and the remover of my worries.
