Dua for Companionship and Understanding When Feeling Lost in a Crowd

Loneliness & Isolation
Hasan HadithSunan At-Tirmidhi 1134

O Allah, I ask You to enable me to do good deeds, to avoid evil deeds, and to love the poor. I ask You to forgive me and have mercy on me. And if You intend to try a people with temptation, then take me to Yourself without being tried. I ask You for Your love, and the love of those who love You, and the love of deeds which bring me closer to Your love.

Allahumma inni as'aluka fi'la khayrat, wa tark munakarat, wa hubb al-masakin, wa an taghfira li wa tarhamani, wa idha aradta fitnah fi qawm fa tawaffani ilayha ghayra muftatin, wa as'aluka hubbak, wa hubba man yuhibbuk, wa hubba 'amalin yuqarribuni ila hubbik

Narrated Abdullah bin Mas'ud: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) taught me the Tashahhud and the supplication in the Tashahhud, and that he would teach us it like he would teach us a Surah from the Qur'an: 'At-tahiyyatu lillahi was-salawatu wat-tayyibat. (Translation: All compliments, all physical prayer and all that is good are for Allah. Peace be upon you, O Prophet, and the mercy of Allah and His blessings. Peace be on us and on the righteous slaves of Allah. I bear witness that there is none worthy of worship except Allah, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His slave and His Messenger. And in the supplication: O Allah, I ask You to enable me to do good deeds, to avoid evil deeds, and to love the poor. I ask You to forgive me and have mercy on me. And if You intend to try a people with temptation, then take me to Yourself without being tried. I ask You for Your love, and the love of those who love You, and the love of deeds which bring me closer to Your love.)
