Duas for improving akhlaq, manners, and behavior
O Allah, guide me to the best of character, for none can guide to the best of it except You. And turn me away from bad character, for none can turn away bad character from me except You.
O Allah, guide me to the best of manners, for no one can guide to the best of them except You. And divert me from bad manners, for no one can divert me from bad manners except You.
O Allah, I ask You for Your love, and the love of those who love You, and for the deeds which will help me attain Your love. O Allah, make Your love dearer to me than myself, and my family, and than cold water.
O Allah, I ask You for steadfastness in all matters, and determination in guidance. I ask You to enable me to be grateful for Your blessings and to worship You in the best way. I ask You for a sound heart and a truthful tongue. I ask You for the good of what You know, and I seek refuge in You from the evil of what You know. And I ask Your forgiveness for what You know.
O Allah, grant my soul its taqwa (consciousness of You), and purify it, for You are the Best of those who purify it. You are its Guardian and its Master. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from knowledge that does not benefit, from a heart that is not humbled, from a soul that is not satisfied, and from a supplication that is not answered.
O Allah, I ask You for a sound heart and a truthful tongue, and I seek refuge in You from the evil of what You know. And I ask You for the good of what You know, and I seek Your forgiveness for what You know.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the cessation of Your blessings, the change of Your protection, the suddenness of Your punishment, and all Your displeasure. I seek refuge in You from cowardice. I seek refuge in You from being overcome in my affairs. I seek refuge in You from going astray or being led astray, from slipping or causing others to slip, from wronging others or being wronged, from acting ignorantly or being treated ignorantly. I seek refuge in You from decrepitude. I seek refuge in You from being humiliated by people. O Allah, Lord of Jibril, Mika'il, and Israfil, Creator of the heavens and the earth, Knower of the seen and the unseen, You judge between Your servants concerning that wherein they differ. Guide me to the truth that is disputed, by Your leave. Indeed, You guide whomever You will to a straight path.
Our Lord, pour upon us patience and cause us to die as Muslims.
O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, goodly provision, and deeds that are accepted.
My Lord, establish prayer for me and my descendants. Our Lord, and accept my supplication.
O Allah, I ask You for knowledge that is beneficial, lawful provision, and deeds that are accepted.
My Lord, have mercy upon them as they brought me up when I was young.
