Duas for sitting together, starting meetings, and leaving gatherings
In the name of Allah. O Allah, I ask You for the goodness of this matter and the goodness of what is in it, and I seek refuge in You from the evil of this matter and the evil of what is in it. And I seek refuge in You from laziness and the evil of old age, three times. And when he asks You, then answer him, and when he seeks Your guidance, then choose for him.
I ask Allah, the Magnificent, Lord of the Mighty Throne, to heal you.
O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, pure provision, and accepted deeds.
O Allah, Lord of Jibril, Mika'il, and Israfil, Creator of the heavens and the earth, Knower of the unseen and the seen. You judge between Your servants concerning that wherein they differ. Guide me to the truth concerning that wherein there is disagreement, by Your permission. Verily, You guide whom You will to a Straight Path.
O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, goodly provision, and acceptable deeds.
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, goodly provision, and acceptable deeds. O Allah, make it (this Hajj/Umrah) a Hajj Mabrur (accepted pilgrimage), a striving (in good) that is appreciated, and a sin that is forgiven. O Allah, accept from us and from them, and forgive us and them, and have mercy on us and on them. O Allah, increase us and do not decrease us, honor us and do not humiliate us, give to us and do not deprive us, prefer us and do not give preference over us. O Allah, grant us from among our spouses and our offspring the coolness of eyes, and make us leaders for the righteous. Glory be to your Lord, the Lord of might, away from what they describe. And peace upon the messengers. And all praise is due to Allah, Lord of the worlds.
O Allah, guide me to the best of conduct and character, for none can guide to the best of it except You. And turn me away from bad conduct and character, for none can turn away from bad of it except You.
O Allah, I seek guidance from You by Your knowledge, and I seek strength from You by Your power, and I ask of Your immense favour. For indeed You know, and I do not know; and You have knowledge of the unseen.
O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your female servant. My forelock is in Your hand. Your command over me is inevitable, and Your decision concerning me is just. I ask You by every name that You have called Yourself, or revealed in Your Book, or taught to any of Your creation, or kept unto Yourself in the eternal knowledge of the Unseen, that You make the Quran the spring of my heart, and the light of my chest, and a remover of my grief, and a banisher of my worries.
O Allah, guide me to the truth concerning that about which there are disputes, by Your leave. Indeed, You guide whomever You will to a straight path.
Glory be to You, O Allah, and praise be to You. I bear witness that there is no god but You. I seek Your forgiveness and turn to You in repentance.
O Allah, forgive them and have mercy on them, and pardon them and absolve them, and honour their reception, and make their entrance spacious, and cleanse them with water, snow, and hail, and purify them from sins as a white garment is purified from dirt, and give them a home better than their home, and a family better than their family, and a spouse better than their spouse, and admit them to Paradise, and protect them from the punishment of the grave and from the punishment of the Fire.
