The act of visiting the sick itself has immense reward, and this dua amplifies the benefit.

Source & Authentication

The Prophet (ﷺ) said: 'Place your hand on the affected part of your body and say: 'Bismillah' three times, and say seven times: 'A'udhu bi 'izzatillahi wa qudratihi min sharri ma ajidu wa uhadhiru' (I seek refuge in Allah and His Power from the evil of what I feel and what I fear). And when visiting a sick person, he (ﷺ) said: 'As'alu Allaha al-'Adheem, Rabb al-'Arsh al-'Adheem, an yashfiyak' (I ask Allah the Magnificent, Lord of the Mighty Throne, to heal you).
