Duas for relief from anxiety, worry, and distress
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from grief and distress, from weakness and laziness, from cowardice and stinginess, from the burden of debt and the overpowering of men.
O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your maidservant. My forelock is in Your hand. Your command over me is effective. Your judgment upon me is just. I ask You by every name that You have called Yourself, or taught to any one of Your creation, or revealed in Your Book, or have preserved in the knowledge of the unseen with You, that You make the Qur'an the delight of my heart, and the light of my chest, and a remover of my sorrow, and a banisher of my worries.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the demise of Your blessings, the change of Your protection, the suddenness of Your vengeance, and all that You dislike. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the evil of character, deeds, and desires.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the disappearing of Your blessings, and the changing of the well-being You have granted, and the suddenness of Your punishment, and all that incurs Your displeasure.
O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, goodly provision, and deeds accepted [by You].
O Allah, I ask You for pardon and well-being in this world and the Hereafter. O Allah, I ask You for pardon and well-being in my religion, my worldly affairs, my family, and my property. O Allah, conceal my faults and secure me from my fears. O Allah, protect me from before me and behind me, from my right and from my left, and from above me. And I seek refuge in Your Magnificence from being taken from beneath me.
Allah is sufficient for us, and He is the best disposer of affairs.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from worry and grief, and I seek refuge in You from helplessness and laziness, and I seek refuge in You from cowardice and stinginess, and I seek refuge in You from the burden of debt and the overpowering of men.
O Allah, I ask You for knowledge that is beneficial, provision that is good and pure, and deeds that are accepted.
O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your maidservant. My forelock is in Your hand. Your command over me is ever effective, and Your judgment concerning me is just. I ask You by every name that You have called Yourself, or revealed in Your Book, or taught to any of Your creation, or kept exclusively unto Yourself in the knowledge of the unseen which You possess, that You make the Quran the spring of my heart, the light of my chest, the banisher of my grief, and the remover of my worries.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the evil of my hearing, and the evil of my sight, and the evil of my tongue, and the evil of my heart, and the evil of my private parts.
O Allah, indeed I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your maidservant. My forelock is in Your hand. Your command over me is necessary. Your justice against me is fair. I ask You by every name that You have called Yourself, or taught to any one of Your creation, or revealed in Your Book, or have preserved in the knowledge of the unseen with You, that You make the Qur'an the delight of my heart, and the light of my chest, and a banisher of my sadness, and a reliever of my worries.
