Duas and remedies for controlling anger
O Allah, forgive me and my parents, and have mercy on them as they cared for me when I was young.
O Allah, Lord of the heavens and the earth, Lord of all things, the Cleaver of the grain and the date-stone, the Revealer of the Tawrah, the Injil, and the Furqan! I seek refuge in You from the evil of everything You are seizing by its forelock. O Allah, You are the First, and nothing is before You; You are the Last, and nothing is after You; You are the Apparent, and nothing is above You; You are the Hidden, and nothing is closer than You. Settle my debt and enrich me from poverty.
O Allah, I ask You for the ability to do good deeds, to abandon evil deeds, and to love the poor. And when You intend to test people, take me to Yourself [in death] without testing me. And I ask You for Your love, and the love of those who love You, and the love of any deed that brings me closer to Your love.
O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your female-servant. My forelock is in Your hand. Your decree concerning me is inevitable, and Your judgment of me is just. I ask You by every name that You have called Yourself, or revealed to any of Your creation, or sent down in Your Book, or kept exclusively unto Yourself in the knowledge of the unseen, that You make the Quran the springtime of my heart, the light of my chest, the banisher of my sadness, and the reliever of my distress.
I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah from His anger and His punishment, and from the evil of His creation, and from the evil whispers of the devils, and from their presence.
O Allah, I ask You to enable me to do good deeds, to abandon evil deeds, and to love the poor. I ask You to forgive me and have mercy on me. And when You intend to try Your creation, take me to Yourself without being subjected to that trial. I ask You for Your love, and the love of those who love You, and deeds which will lead me to Your love. O Allah, make Your love dearer to me than myself, my family, and than cold water. O Allah, I ask You for Your love, and the love of those who love You, and the love of deeds which bring me closer to Your love.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the cessation of Your blessings, the reversal of Your protection, the suddenness of Your punishment, and all that You are displeased with. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the hardship of affliction, the attainment of misery, the evil of fate, and the rejoicing of enemies. O Allah, I ask You for steadfastness in all affairs, and resolve in guidance. I ask You for gratitude for Your blessings and excellence in worshipping You. I ask You for a sound heart and a truthful tongue. I ask You for the good You know, and I seek refuge in You from the evil You know. I seek Your forgiveness for what You know, for indeed, You are the Knower of the unseen.
O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, good provision, and acceptable deeds.
O Allah, I ask You to enable me to do good deeds, to abandon evil deeds, and to love the poor. And when You intend to test Your creation with a trial, take me to Yourself without my being tested. I ask You for Your love, and the love of those who love You, and the love of deeds which bring me closer to Your love.
I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah from His anger and His punishment, and from the evil of His creation, and from the whispers of devils, and from their presence.
I seek refuge in Allah from the accursed Satan. O Allah, forgive my sin, remove the anger from my heart, and save me from the misleading trials.
I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah from His anger and His punishment, and from the evil of His creation, and from the whispers of the devils and from their being present.
