الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي بِنِعْمَتِهِ تَتِمُّ الصَّالِحَاتُ

All praise is due to Allah, by Whose grace good deeds are completed.

Al-hamdu lillāhilladhī bi-ni'matihi tatimmus-sāliḥāt.

When to Read

This is a beautiful expression of gratitude that can be recited any time you feel a sense of accomplishment or completion, especially after a significant event like completing Umrah or Hajj, visiting Makkah or Madinah, or even finishing a blessed deed. It's particularly fitting when you first lay eyes on the Kaaba or enter the Haram Sharif, acknowledging that this incredible opportunity is a blessing from Allah.

How to Read

Recite this with a heart full of sincerity and a sense of profound thankfulness. Visualize Allah's blessings upon you. This isn't just a phrase to utter; it's an acknowledgment of His favor in enabling you to reach this sacred place and perform acts of worship. Let the feeling of gratitude resonate within you.

Virtues & Benefits

This dua encapsulates the essence of recognizing Allah's perfect grace. When we attribute the completion of good deeds and the attainment of blessings to Allah, we are affirming Tawhid (Oneness of Allah) and acknowledging our utter dependence on Him. It’s a way of purifying our intentions and ensuring our acts of worship are accepted, as completion and acceptance are solely from Allah. This practice fosters humility and prevents any sense of self-congratulation, keeping our focus on the Giver of all gifts.
