O Allah, I seek Your guidance through Your knowledge, and I seek ability through Your power, and I ask of Your great bounty. For You know, and I know not; You have power, and I have no power; and You are the Knower of the unseen. O Allah, if You know that this matter – and here you mention the specific matter – is good for me in my religion, my livelihood, and my Hereafter (or 'in my present and my future'), then ordain it for me, make it easy for me, and bless it for me. And if You know that this matter is bad for me in my religion, my livelihood, and my Hereafter (or 'in my present and my future'), then turn it away from me, and turn me away from it, and ordain for me the good wherever it may be, and make me pleased with it.
O Allah, I seek guidance from Your knowledge, and strength from Your power, and I ask of Your great bounty. For indeed You have power, and I have no power; You have knowledge, and I have no knowledge; and You are the Knower of the unseen. O Allah, and if You know that this matter (mention the matter: marrying so-and-so) is evil for me in my religion, my livelihood and my worldly life and my hereafter (or: my immediate and my later consequence), then turn it away from me, and turn me away from it, and ordain for me the good wherever it may be, and make me pleased with it.

O Allah, unite our hearts, mend the discord between us, guide us to the paths of peace, deliver us from darkness into light, keep us away from all shameful deeds, whether open or hidden, and bless our hearing, our sight, our hearts, our spouses, and our offspring. Accept our repentance, for indeed, You are the Accepter of repentance, the Most Merciful.
Our Lord, forgive me and my parents and the believers the Day the account is established.
O Allah, the One who brings hearts together, bring our hearts together.
In the name of Allah, with whose name nothing can cause harm on earth nor in the heavens, and He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing.
O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your maidservant. My forelock is in Your hand. Your judgment is in me. Your decree concerning me is just. I ask You by every name that You have called Yourself, or revealed to any of Your creation, or sent down in Your Book, or kept hidden in the knowledge of the unseen with You, that You make the Quran the springtime of my heart, the light of my chest, the banisher of my sadness, and the remover of my worries.
May Allah bless you, and shower His blessings upon you, and unite you both in goodness.
