O Allah, I ask You for well-being in this world and the Hereafter. O Allah, I ask You for pardon and well-being in my religion, my worldly affairs, my family, and my wealth. O Allah, conceal my weaknesses and comfort my fears. O Allah, protect me from before me and behind me, from my right and my left, and from above me. And I seek refuge in Your Greatness lest I be destroyed from beneath me.
To Allah we belong and to Allah we return. O Allah, reward me in this calamity and compensate me with something better than it.
In the name of Allah we enter, and in the name of Allah we leave, and in Allah, our Lord, we trust.
O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, pure provisions, and acceptable deeds.
O Allah, teach me the Book and wisdom, and grant me understanding in the religion, and expedite for me the comprehension of the Quran.
Allah is the Greatest, with much greatness. Praise is to Allah, in abundance. Glory be to Allah, both in the morning and the evening.
O Allah, I seek Your guidance based on Your knowledge, and seek ability through Your power, and I ask of You Your great bounty. For indeed You have power, and I have no power; You have knowledge, and I have no knowledge; and You are the Knower of the unseen. O Allah, if You know that this matter (and he specifies the matter) is good for me in my religion, my livelihood, and my Hereafter - or he said: in my present and my future - then decree it for me, and make it easy for me, and then bless it for me. And if You know that this matter is bad for me in my religion, my livelihood, and my Hereafter - or he said: in my present and my future - then turn it away from me, and turn me away from it, and decree for me whatever is good, and make me content with it.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the evil of what I have done and the evil of what I have not done.
We seek Your forgiveness. All praise is due to Allah, Who removed from me the harm and relieved me.
All praise is for Allah, Who brought us back to life after causing us to die, and to Him is the Resurrection.
O Allah, forgive him, have mercy on him, grant him well-being, and pardon him. Be generous to him with a comfortable resting place, expand his grave. Wash him with water, snow, and hail, and purify him from sins as a white garment is purified from dirt. Grant him a home better than his home, a family better than his family, and a spouse better than his spouse. Admit him into Paradise and protect him from the torment of the grave and the torment of the Fire.
O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your maidservant. My forelock is in Your hand. Your command over me is ever effective. Your decree concerning me is just. I ask You by every name that You have called Yourself, or revealed in Your Book, or taught to any one of Your creation, or kept unto Yourself in the knowledge of the unseen which is with You, that You make the Qur'an the springtime of my heart, and the light of my chest, the banisher of my sadness, and the remover of my worries.
