O Allah, I seek refuge in You from worry and grief, I seek refuge in You from weakness and laziness, I seek refuge in You from cowardice and stinginess, and I seek refuge in You from the overwhelming of debt and the subjugation of men.
O Allah, guide me to the best of character, for none can guide to the best of it except You. And divert me from bad character, for none can divert from bad it except You.
In the name of Allah, I seek refuge in Allah from the evil of those who practice witchcraft and from the evil of the envier when he envies.
O Allah, indeed I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your maidservant. My forelock is in Your hand. Your command over me is inevitable, and Your justice in my case is an evidence. I ask You by every name belonging to You, which You have revealed in Your Book, or You have taught to any one of Your creation, or You have kept exclusively for Yourself in the knowledge of the unseen with You, that You make the Qur'an the springtime of my heart, and the light of my chest, and a departure for my sadness and a remover of my worries.
O Allah, make this sanctuary of Yours a true sanctuary with Your sacred law. Make the remembrance of You prominent within it. Make my heart humble within it, and make it a place of forgiveness for me. O Allah, open to me the doors of Your mercy.
O Allah, open for me the gates of Your mercy.
O Allah, the stars have appeared, and eyes have closed, and You are Ever-Living, the Self-Sustaining. Slumber and sleep do not overtake You. O Allah, make my night peaceful and let my eyes sleep.
O Allah, I ask You for its goodness, the goodness of its people, and the goodness of whatever is in it. And I seek refuge in You from its evil, the evil of its people, and the evil of whatever is in it.
O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your maidservant. My forelock is in Your hand. Your command over me is inescapable, and Your justice in Your decree is inevitable. I ask You by every name that You have called Yourself, or revealed in Your Book, or taught to any of Your creation, or kept to Yourself in the knowledge of the unseen which You possess, that You make the Qur'an the springtime of my heart, and the light of my chest, the banisher of my grief, and the remover of my anxiety.
O Allah, Controller of the hearts, turn our hearts towards Your obedience.
O Allah, protect my husband with Your protection, and guard him with Your care. Make him safe, healthy, and free from all harm and trials. O Allah, grant him health and well-being, make his eyes bright (with happiness), make good things easy for him wherever he may be, and protect him from the evil of what You decree and what I fear. O Allah, protect him with the protection of Islam, and grant us happiness in this world and the Hereafter.
O Allah, suffice me with Your lawful provision instead of Your unlawful provision, and enrich me with Your bounty, so that I may not need to seek from anyone other than You.
