โœฆ

O Allah, protect my husband with Your protection, and guard him with Your care. Make him safe, healthy, and free from all harm and trials. O Allah, grant him health and well-being, make his eyes bright (with happiness), make good things easy for him wherever he may be, and protect him from the evil of what You decree and what I fear. O Allah, protect him with the protection of Islam, and grant us happiness in this world and the Hereafter.

Allahumma ihfadh zawji bi-hifdhik, wakla'hu bi-ri'ayatik, waj'alhu saliman mu'afan min kulli su'in wa bala'. Allahumma urzuqhu as-sihhata wal-'afiyah, waj'alhu qareer al-'ayn, wa sakhir lahul-khaira haithu kana, wakfihi sharra ma qaddarta wa akhaf. Allahumma ihfadhhu bi-hifdhil-Islam, warzuqna as-sa'adata fid-dunya wal-akhirah.

When to Read

This dua is perfect for reciting at any time, especially during the quiet moments of the night, after prayers, or during times of worry about your spouse. It's a beautiful way to start your day, sending them off with your earnest supplications for their safety and happiness.

How to Read

Recite this dua with sincerity and heartfelt conviction. Raise your hands in supplication, as you would for any other dua. Visualize your husband being enveloped in Allah's protection. It's particularly poignant to recite this facing the Qiblah, if possible, and with a calm, focused state of mind. Make it a habit, perhaps after Fajr or Isha, to strengthen the bond and entrust him to Allah's care.

Virtues & Benefits

Making dua for your spouse is a profound act of love and a Sunnah. It strengthens the marital bond, fosters mutual care, and brings blessings into the relationship. The Prophet Muhammad ๏ทบ said: 'The dua of a Muslim for his brother in his absence is answered. An angel is appointed by his side. When the angel prays for him, 'And to you be the like of that.'' (Sahih Muslim 2111). By extending this to your spouse, you are seeking double the mercy and protection from Allah (SWT). It shows trust in Allah's power to protect and provide, which is a cornerstone of strong faith.
