Narrated Ali ibn Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with him): A man came to the Prophet ﷺ and said: "O Messenger of Allah, I am overwhelmed by debt and struggle." He (ﷺ) said: "Shall I not teach you words that, if you say them, Allah will remove your debt, even if it were as large as Mount Seer (a mountain in Yemen)?" He said: "Yes, please do." The Prophet ﷺ said: "Say: Allahumma ikfini bihalalika 'an haramika wa aghnini bifadlika 'amman siwak." (O Allah, suffice me with Your lawful provision instead of Your unlawful provision, and enrich me with Your bounty, so that I may not need to seek from anyone other than You.) [Reported by Tirmidhi, who said it is hasan ghareeb. He also reported it from Ibn Majah.]
