O Allah, I seek guidance from Your knowledge, and strength from Your power, and I ask for Your tremendous bounty. For You have power, and I have no power; You have knowledge, and I have no knowledge; and You are the Knower of the unseen. O Allah, if You know that this matter (mention your matter here: e.g., this engagement/this friendship/this decision regarding my family) is good for me in my religion, my livelihood, and my Hereafter (or he said: for my present and my future), then decree it for me, make it easy for me, and bless it for me. And if You know that this matter is bad for me in my religion, my livelihood, and my Hereafter (or he said: for my present and my future), then turn it away from me, and turn me away from it, and decree for me that which is good wherever it may be, and make me content with it.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from grief and distress, I seek refuge in You from incapacity and laziness, I seek refuge in You from cowardice and stinginess, and I seek refuge in You from the burden of debt and the overpowering of men.
O Allah, there is no ease except what You make easy. If You will, You can make hardship easy.
All praise is for Allah Who has clothed me with this (garment) and provided it for me, without any power or strength on my part.
O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, goodly provision, and accepted deeds.
In the name of Allah. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the male and female devils (or from all evil and wicked things).
O Allah, forgive [Full Name], son of [Father's Name], and raise his station among those who are guided. And leave behind for him descendants who will remain. Forgive us and him, O Lord of the worlds. And make his grave spacious and illuminate it for him.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the evil of my hearing, and from the evil of my sight, and from the evil of my tongue, and from the evil of my heart, and from the evil of my semen.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from anxiety and sorrow, I seek refuge in You from helplessness and laziness, I seek refuge in You from cowardice and stinginess, and I seek refuge in You from the overwhelming of debt and the subjugation of men.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the punishment of Hellfire, and from the punishment of the grave, and from the trials of life and death, and from the evil of the trial of the False Messiah (Dajjal).
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the male devils and female devils (or from evil and evil spirits).
O Allah, I ask You for well-being in this world and the Hereafter. O Allah, I ask You for forgiveness and well-being in my religious and worldly affairs and my family and my wealth. O Allah, conceal my private parts and make me secure from anxieties. O Allah, protect me from in front of me and from behind me, and from my right and from my left, and from above me, and I seek refuge in Your magnificence from being struck from beneath me.
