Duas directly from the Holy Quran
My Lord, enable me to be grateful for Your favors which You have bestowed upon me and upon my parents, and to do righteousness of which You approve. And admit me by Your mercy into [the ranks of] Your righteous servants.
My Lord, they have led astray many of mankind. So whoever follows me โ then he is from me; and whoever disobeys me โ indeed, You are Forgiving and Merciful.
And [mention, O Muhammad], when Abraham said, 'My Lord, make this city secure and keep me and my children away from worshipping idols. My Lord, indeed they [idols] have misled many among the people. So whoever follows me is of me; and whoever disobeys me โ then indeed, You are Forgiving and Merciful.'
In the name of Allah, I believe in Allah, and I rely on Allah. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the evil of my soul, and from the evil of Satan and his associations. And I seek refuge in You from the trials of this world and the punishment of the grave.
Our Lord, we have wronged ourselves, and if You do not forgive us and have mercy upon us, we will surely be among the losers.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from all evil.
Our Lord, pour down on us patience and make firm our feet and give us victory over the disbelieving people.
"O my Lord, indeed they (idols) have led astray many of mankind. So whoever follows me โ then he is of me; and whoever disobeys me โ indeed, You are Forgiving and Merciful. Our Lord, and make us [submitters] to You and [perhaps] from our offspring a nation submitting to You. And show us our rites and accept our repentance. Indeed, You are the Accepting of Repentance, the Merciful."
My Lord, indeed I am overcome, so give victory.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the evil of what I have done, and from the evil of what I have not done.
There is no deity except You; exalted are You. Indeed, I have been of the wrongdoers.
O Allah, grant us goodness in this world and goodness in the Hereafter, and protect us from the punishment of the Fire.
