Duas for seeking protection from evil
O Allah, I ask You for guidance, piety, chastity, and contentment (or richness).
O Turner of the hearts, make my heart firm upon Your religion.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the demise of Your blessings, the reversal of Your well-being, the suddenness of Your punishment, and all that You are displeased with. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from distress and sorrow, from incapacity and laziness, from cowardice and miserliness, and from the overwhelming of debt and the subjugation of men.
O Allah, grant me well-being in my body. O Allah, grant me well-being in my hearing. O Allah, grant me well-being in my sight. There is no god but You.
In the name of Allah, with whose name nothing can cause harm on earth or in the heavens, and He is the Hearing, the Knowing.
Glory be to Him Who has subjected this (transport) to us, and we could never have accomplished it by ourselves. And indeed, to our Lord we will return. O Allah, we ask You for righteousness and piety in our journey, and in deeds which please You. O Allah, make this journey easy for us, and make its distance short for us. O Allah, You are the Companion on the journey and the Successor (to guard) the family. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the hardships of the journey, and from the distress of seeing evil, and from the evil turn of events in wealth and family.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the evil of my hearing, from the evil of my sight, from the evil of my tongue, from the evil of my heart, and from the evil of my semen/reproduction.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the disappearance of Your blessings, the turning away of Your well-being, the suddenness of Your punishment, and all that You are displeased with. I seek refuge in You from the trials of loved ones, and from the evil of companions. I seek refuge in You from the evil of what I have brought, and from the evil of what I have not brought. I seek refuge in You from being left to myself, or being left to someone better than myself, or being left to someone other than myself. I seek refuge in You from misguiding error and misleading guidance. I seek refuge in You from followed desires and followed opinions. I seek refuge in You from the hardship of affliction, the attainment of misery, evil decree, and the rejoicing of enemies. I seek refuge in You from the evil of what I know and the evil of what I do not know, from the evil of what I conceal and the evil of what I reveal. I seek refuge in You from the evil of the things that are most feared by me, and from the evil of all that You have created. I seek refuge in You from the disappearance of Your blessings, the turning away of Your well-being, the suddenness of Your punishment, and all that You are displeased with. I seek refuge in You from being left to myself, or being left to someone other than myself.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the burden of debt, from being overcome by enemies, and from the rejoicing of enemies.
In the name of Allah be its running and its resting. Indeed, my Lord is Forgiving and Merciful.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from knowledge that does not benefit, from a heart that does not fear [You], from a soul that is not satisfied, and from a prayer that is not answered.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the decline of Your blessings, the change of Your protection, the suddenness of Your punishment, and all that displeases You.
