Duas for patience during trials and hardships
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the cessation of Your blessings, the change of Your protection, the suddenness of Your vengeance, and all Your displeasure. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from these.
O Allah, I ask You for patience with Your decree, and healing after Your giving, and ease during Your ease, and do not cut off our hope in You, and do not corrupt our affairs for us, and perpetuate Your blessings upon us, and guide us to the right path. Ameen.
Our Lord, grant us from Yourself mercy and prepare for us from our affair right guidance.
O Turner of the hearts, keep my heart firm on Your religion.
Verily, to Allah we belong and to Him we shall return.
Our Lord, forgive me and my parents and the believers the Day the account is established.
O Allah, I ask You for steadfastness in all affairs, and resolve in righteousness. I ask You to enable me to be grateful for Your blessings and to worship You in the best manner. I ask You for a sound heart and a truthful tongue. I seek refuge in You from the evil of whatever You know, and I ask You of the good that You know. I seek Your forgiveness for what You know, indeed, You are the Knower of the unseen.
O Allah, indeed I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your female-servant. My forehead is in Your Hand. Your decree concerning me is ever effective. Your judgment over me is just. I ask You by every Name that You have called Yourself, or taught to anyone from Your creation, or revealed in Your Book, or have preserved in the knowledge of the unseen with You, that You make the Qur'an the delight of my heart, the light of my chest, the banisher of my grief, and the reliever of my worries.
O Allah, I ask You for patience at the time of decree, and praise be to Allah in times of ease and hardship, and gratitude in times of prosperity and distress. O Allah, help me to remember You, to thank You, and to worship You in the best way.
My Lord, expand for me my breast, and make my task easy for me, and loosen the knot from my tongue, that they may understand my speech.
Indeed, we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him we will return. O Allah, grant me reward in my affliction and recompense me with that which is better.
O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your female servant. My forelock is in Your hand. Your command over me is forever executed. Your decree concerning me is just. I ask You by every name You have called Yourself, or revealed in Your Book, or taught to any of Your creation, or kept unto Yourself in the knowledge of the unseen that You have. I ask You to make the Qur'an the springtime of my heart, the light of my chest, the remover of my sadness, and the banisher of my worry and grief. And that You assist me in paying off my debt, and enrich me with Your bounty, sufficient for me, so that I need none other than You.
