Duas for patience during trials and hardships
Our Lord, bestow upon us from Yourself sustenance, and make us the grateful. And we ask You for patience, O Allah, and steadfastness in Your command and steadfastness in guidance. O Allah, grant us ease and do not make our trial a cause of our downfall. And grant us refuge from hardship.
My Lord, forgive me and my brother, and admit us to Your mercy, for You are the Most Merciful of the merciful.
O Allah, I ask You for steadfastness in all matters, and determination in righteousness. I ask You to enable me to be grateful for Your blessings and to worship You in the best way. I ask You for a sound heart and a truthful tongue. I ask You for the good You know, and I seek refuge in You from the evil You know. I seek Your forgiveness for what You know. Indeed, You are the Knower of hidden things.
O Allah, I ask You for patience during Your trials, and for gratitude for Your blessings, and for remembrance of You, O Most Merciful of the merciful.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from worry and grief. I seek refuge in You from helplessness and laziness. I seek refuge in You from cowardice and stinginess. And I seek refuge in You from the burden of debt and the tyranny of men.
Our Lord, pour down on us patience and cause us to die as Muslims [in submission to You].
O Allah, I ask You for firmness in all matters, and resolution in guidance. I ask You for the gratitude for Your blessings, and excellence in Your worship. I ask You for a sound heart and a truthful tongue. I ask You for the good of what You know, and I seek refuge in You from the evil of what I know. I seek Your forgiveness for what You know, indeed, You are the Knower of the unseen.
All praise is for Allah in all circumstances, and I ask Allah for pardon and well-being.
"Our Lord, pour down on us patience and cause us to die as Muslims."
Indeed we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him we will return. O Allah, reward me for my affliction and compensate me with something better than it.
O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your maidservant. My forelock is in Your hand. Your decree concerning me is executed. Your judgment over me is just. I ask You by every name that You have called Yourself, or revealed in Your Book, or taught to any of Your creation, or which You have kept to Yourself in the knowledge of the unseen which is with You, to make the Qur'an the delight of my heart, the light of my breast, the remover of my grief and the banisher of my worries.
O Allah, I ask You for patience in the face of what I dislike, and a life after death, and delight in looking at Your Face, and a longing to meet You, without any hardship causing harm or misguiding trials. O Allah, adorn us with the adornment of faith, and make us guides who are rightly guided.
