Morning remembrance and supplications to start your day
O Allah, I ask You for wellbeing in this world and the Hereafter. O Allah, I ask You for pardon and wellbeing in my religious and worldly affairs, my family and my property. O Allah, conceal my faults and secure me from my anxieties. O Allah, protect me from before me and from behind me, from my right and from my left, and from above me, and I seek refuge in Your Magnificence from being overthrown from beneath me.
In the name of Allah, with Whose name nothing can cause harm on earth nor in the heavens, and He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing.
O Allah, grant me health in my body. O Allah, grant me health in my hearing. O Allah, grant me health in my sight. There is no god but You.
O Ever-Living, O Self-Subsisting Sustainer, by Your mercy I seek help. Rectify for me all of my affairs and do not entrust me to myself even for the blink of an eye.
I am pleased with Allah as my Lord, with Islam as my religion, and with Muhammad as my Prophet.
O Allah, I have entered the morning, bearing witness to You, and to the bearers of Your Throne, Your angels, and all of Your creation, that You are Allah, there is no god but You, alone, without partner, and that Muhammad is Your servant and Your messenger.
In the name of Allah, with whose name nothing can cause harm on earth nor in the heaven, and He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing.
Glory be to Allah, and all praise is for Allah, and there is no god but Allah, and Allah is the Greatest.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from helplessness and laziness, from cowardice and senility, and I seek refuge in You from the trials of the grave, and the punishment of the grave, and from the trial of the Fire, and the punishment of the Fire, and from the evil of the trial of wealth, and the evil of the trial of poverty. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the evil of what night and day bring.
O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, goodly provision, and acceptable deeds.
O Allah, You are my Lord, there is no god but You. You created me and I am Your servant. I remain on Your covenant and Your promise as best as I can. I seek refuge in You from the evil of what I have done. I acknowledge Your favour upon me, and I admit my sin. Forgive me, for indeed, no one forgives sins except You.
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Praise be to Allah, the Lord of all worlds. The Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Master of the Day of Judgment. You alone do we worship, and You alone do we ask for help. Guide us to the straight path. The path of those You have blessed, not of those who have earned Your anger, nor of those who are astray.
