Duas for seeking knowledge, understanding, and wisdom
O Allah, make beneficial what You have taught me, teach me the knowledge that will benefit me, and increase me in knowledge.
O Allah, benefit me by what You have taught me, and teach me what will benefit me, and increase me in knowledge.
O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, pure provision, and deeds accepted.
O Allah, benefit me by what You have taught me, and teach me that which will benefit me, and increase me in knowledge.
O Allah, suffice me with Your lawful provision instead of Your unlawful provision, and enrich me with Your bounty, so that I may not need anyone but You.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from distress and sorrow, I seek refuge in You from incapacity and laziness, I seek refuge in You from cowardice and stinginess, and I seek refuge in You from being overcome by debt and from being dominated by men.
O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, good provision, and acceptable deeds.
O Allah, grant me knowledge from Your presence, and make me a guide who is guided.
O Allah, suffice me with Your lawful provision instead of Your unlawful provision, and enrich me with Your grace, so that I may not need anyone other than You.
O Allah, forgive me my all sins, the minor and the major, the first and the last, the apparent and the hidden, the intentional and the mistaken. O Allah, grant me a soul at peace, which believes in meeting You, and is content with Your decree, and satisfied with Your gift. O Allah, open for us the openings of those who know (You), and illuminate our hearts with the light of Your knowledge, and open upon us the openings of those who know (You).
O Allah, teach me from Your knowledge, grant me understanding, and make the path of seeking knowledge easy for me. Grant me wisdom by which I can direct my speech correctly, and grant me a truthful tongue among later generations.
