Duas for seeking knowledge, understanding, and wisdom
O Allah, I ask You for knowledge that is beneficial, good sustenance, and deeds that are accepted.
O Allah, grant me wisdom and join me with the righteous.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from knowledge that does not benefit, from a heart that does not fear (You), from a soul that is not satisfied, and from a prayer that is not answered.
My Lord, expand for me my breast, and make my task easy for me, and untie the knot from my tongue, that they may understand my speech.
O Allah, teach me the Book (the Quran), and the calculation (understanding of practical matters/inheritance), and the understanding of the religion.
Our Lord, do not make our hearts deviate after You have guided us and bestow upon us mercy from You. Indeed, You are the Bestower.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from knowledge that does not benefit, from a heart that does not fear [You], from a soul that is not satisfied, and from a supplication that is not heard.
O Allah, grant me understanding of the Deen (religion) and teach me its interpretation.
O Allah, I ask You for knowledge that is beneficial, for good provision, and for deeds that are acceptable.
O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, good provision, and deeds that are accepted.
O Allah, benefit me with what You have taught me, and teach me what is beneficial for me, and increase me in knowledge.
O Allah, teach me the Book (the Quran) and the reckoning (wisdom/understanding), and inspire me with guidance, and teach me what benefits me, and benefit me by what You have taught me, and increase me in knowledge.
