Duas for steadfastness, guidance, and firm faith
O Allah, guide me to the best of character, for none can guide to the best of it except You. And turn me away from bad character, for none can turn away from bad it except You.
Guide us to the straight path โ The path of those upon whom You have bestowed favor, not of those who have evoked [Your] anger or of those who are astray.
O Allah, I ask You for guidance, piety, chastity, and contentment.
O Allah, we seek refuge in You from these desires, from the trials of this world, from the punishment of the grave, from the Day of Resurrection, from the evil of this world and the Hereafter, from the evil of what we do, and from the evil of what we do not do, and from the evil of what You have created, and from the evil of what You have not created, and from the evil of what You have created.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the passing away of Your blessings, and from the change of Your protection, and from the sudden vengeance of Your punishment, and from all of Your displeasure.
O Allah, rectify for me my religion which is the safeguard of my affairs, rectify for me my worldly life in which is my livelihood, and rectify for me my Hereafter to which is my return. Make the life a [means of] increase for me in every goodness, and make death a rest for me from every evil.
O Allah, I ask You for the guidance of those who turn to You, the actions of the righteous, and the station of the virtuous. And I distance myself from the immorality of those driven by desires. And grant me a happy end. Indeed, You answer prayers.
O Allah, guide me and set me aright, and remind with guidance Your guidance, and with rightness Your rightness.
Our Lord, give us in this world [that which is] good and in the Hereafter [that which is] good and protect us from the punishment of the Fire.
O Allah, I ask You for knowledge that is beneficial, provision that is pure, and deeds that are accepted.
My Lord, enable me to be grateful for Your favor which You have bestowed upon me and upon my parents and to do righteousness of which You approve. And admit me by Your mercy into [the company of] Your righteous servants.
