Duas for steadfastness, guidance, and firm faith
O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your maidservant. My forelock is in Your hand. Your command over me is ever effective, and Your decree concerning me is just. I ask You by every name that You have called Yourself, or revealed in Your Book, or taught to any of Your creation, or kept to Yourself in the knowledge of the unseen which is with You, to make the Qur'an the springtime of my heart, the light of my chest, the banisher of my sadness, and the remover of my worries.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from associating anything with You knowingly, and I seek Your forgiveness for what I associate with You unknowingly.
O Allah, I ask You for guidance, piety, chastity, and self-sufficiency.
I seek refuge in Allah from the accursed Shaytan.
O Allah, Lord of Jibreel, Mika'il, and Israfil, Creator of the heavens and the earth, Knower of the unseen and the seen. You judge between Your servants concerning that wherein they differ. Guide me to the truth concerning that wherein they differed by Your leave. Verily, You guide whom You will to a straight path.
O Allah! Guide me to the right course, O Allah! I ask You for guidance and rectitude.
O Allah, I seek Your guidance through Your knowledge, and seek power through Your power, and I ask for Your magnificent bounty. For indeed You have power, and I have no power; You know, and I know not; and You are the Knower of the unseen. O Allah, if You know that this matter โ name the matter itself โ is good for me in my religion, my worldly life, and my hereafter โ or he said: in my present and my future โ then decree it for me, make it easy for me, and bless it for me. And if You know that this matter is evil for me in my religion, my worldly life, and my hereafter โ or he said: in my present and my future โ then turn it away from me and turn me away from it, and decree for me that which is good wherever it may be, and make me satisfied with it.
O Allah, guide us to the straight path.
O Allah, guide me to the truth in that which there is disagreement, by Your permission. Indeed, You guide whom You will to a straight path.
O Allah, I ask You for guidance, piety, chastity, and contentment.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from associating any partner with You knowingly, and I seek Your forgiveness for what I do unknowingly.
O Allah, teach me what is correct, guide me to the path of righteousness, and inspire me with wisdom so that I may speak the truth and call to the path of my Lord with good counsel, and debate with them in the way that is best.
