Duas for seeking forgiveness from Allah
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the disappearance of Your blessings, the reversal of Your protection, the suddenness of Your punishment, and all of Your displeasure.
My Lord, forgive me and my parents and whoever enters my home as a believer and the believing men and women. And do not increase the wrongdoers except in destruction.
Our Lord, cause not our hearts to deviate after You have guided us and grant us from Yourself mercy. Indeed, You are the Bestower.
O Allah, I ask You for sincere repentance.
O Allah, I ask You to enable me to do good deeds and abandon evil deeds, and to love the poor. And that You forgive me and have mercy on me. And when You intend to test a people, then take me [to Yourself] without subjecting me to that test. And I ask You for Your love, and the love of those who love You, and the love of deeds which bring me closer to Your love.
Glory be to You, O Allah, and praise be to You. I seek Your forgiveness and turn to You in repentance.
Our Lord, forgive me and my parents and the believers the Day the account is established.
Our Lord, we have wronged ourselves, and if You do not forgive us and have mercy upon us, we will surely be among the losers.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the evil of my hearing, and from the evil of my seeing, and from the evil of my tongue, and from the evil of my heart, and from the evil of my private parts.
O Allah, forgive me my mistakes, my ignorance, my extravagance in my affairs, and whatever You know better about me. O Allah, forgive me my jesting and my seriousness, my errors and my deliberate acts, my resolutions and my jesting, my errors and my deliberate acts, and all of that is with me. O Allah, forgive me what I have committed and what I have delayed, what I have concealed and what I have done openly, and what You know better about me. You are the One Who sends forth and the One Who delays, and You are Able to do all things.
O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your maidservant. My forelock is in Your hand. Your command over me is forever executed. Your judgment on me is just. I ask You by every name that You have called Yourself, or revealed to anyone from Your creation, or sent down in Your Book, or kept hidden in the knowledge of the unseen with You, that You make the Qur'an the springtime of my heart, the light of my chest, the banisher of my grief, and the remover of my anxiety.
O Allah, forgive me for what I have sent forth and what I have delayed, for what I have concealed and what I have declared, for what I have exceeded in, and what You know better than I. You are the One Who brings forth and You are the One Who delays. There is no god but You.
