Duas for seeking forgiveness from Allah
O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your female servant. My forelock is in Your hand. Your decree concerning me is effective. Your judgment upon me is just. I ask You by every name that You have called Yourself, or revealed to any of Your creation, or sent down in Your Book, or have preserved in the knowledge of the unseen with You, that You make the Quran the spring of my heart, the light of my chest, the banisher of my grief, and the reliever of my worries.
O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your female servant. My forelock is in Your hand. Your judgment upon me is inevitable. Your decree concerning me is just. I ask You by every name that You have called Yourself, or revealed to anyone from Your creation, or sent down in Your Book, or kept hidden in the knowledge of the unseen with You, that You make the Qur'an the springtime of my heart, the light of my chest, the banisher of my sorrow, and the reliever of my anxiety.
Glory be to You, O Allah, and praise be to You. I bear witness that there is no god but You. I seek Your forgiveness and turn to You in repentance.
O Allah, forgive me my sin, all of it, the small and the great, the first and the last, the apparent and the hidden.
I seek refuge in Allah from the accursed Satan.
O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your maidservant. My forelock is in Your hand. Your command over me is forever executed. Your judgement on me is just. I ask You by every name You have named Yourself with, or revealed to anyone You created, or sent down in Your Book, or kept in the knowledge of the unseen with You, that You make the Qur'an the spring of my heart, the light of my chest, the remover of my grief, and the banisher of my worries. And but I ask You to forgive me my wrongs against Your servants.
O Allah, indeed I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your maidservant. My forelock is in Your hand (You have control over me). Your command over me is forever executed. Your decision concerning me is just. I ask You by every name that You have called Yourself, or revealed in Your Book, or taught to any of Your creation, or kept unto Yourself in the knowledge of the unseen, that You make the Qur'an the spring of my heart, and the light of my chest, the banisher of my grief, and the reliever of my worries.
O Allah, forgive me for my sin, all of it, the small and the great, the first and the last, the open and the secret, the intentional and the unintentional.
O Allah, forgive my errors, my ignorance, my extravagance in my affairs, and what You know better than I. O Allah, forgive my seriousness and my joking, my mistakes and my intentions, and all of that is with me.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the passing away of Your blessings, and from the change of Your protection, and from the suddenness of Your punishment, and from all of Your displeasure.
O Allah, forgive me my mistakes and my ignorance, and my excess in my affairs, and what You know better about me than I do. O Allah, forgive me my jesting and my seriousness, my errors and my deliberate acts, and what I have [done] within me and my sin. All of that is with me. O Allah, forgive me what I have sent forth and what I have delayed, and what I have concealed and what I have revealed, and what You know better about me than I do. You are the One Who sends forth and the One Who delays; You have power over all things.
O Allah, forgive me all my sins, the minor and the major, the first and the last, the apparent and the secret. Indeed, no one forgives sins but You.
