Duas for seeking forgiveness from Allah
O Allah, forgive my mistakes, my ignorance, my extravagance in my affairs, and whatever You know better than I do. O Allah, forgive my seriousness and my jest, my unintentional errors and my intentional ones, and all of that is with me (i.e., comes from me).
O Allah, forgive me my sin, all of it, the minor and the major, the first and the last, the apparent and the hidden.
O Allah, I ask You for knowledge that is beneficial, provision that is pure, and deeds that are accepted.
My Lord, forgive me and my parents and whoever enters my home as a believer and the believing men and women.
Our Lord, forgive me and my parents and the believers on the Day the account is established.
O Allah, forgive me, have mercy upon me, guide me, grant me well-being, and provide for me.
O Allah, I ask You to enable me to do good deeds, to shun evil deeds, and to love the poor. And I ask You to protect me from the trials that You decree for Your creation, so that You take me to Yourself without being tested by them. I ask You for Your love, and the love of those who love You, and the love of any deed that brings me closer to Your love.
Glory be to You, O Allah, and praise be to You! I bear witness that there is no god but You. I seek Your forgiveness and turn to You in repentance.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the disappearance of Your favors, the reversal of Your well-being, the suddenness of Your punishment, and all that displeases You.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the disappearance of Your blessings, and the change of Your good health, and the suddenness of Your punishment, and all of Your displeasure. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from distress and sorrow, and I seek refuge in You from helplessness and laziness, and I seek refuge in You from cowardice and stinginess, and I seek refuge in You from being overwhelmed by debt and overcome by men.
Our Lord, forgive us our sins and our excesses in our affair and make firm our feet and give us victory over the disbelieving people. O Allah, forgive me, have mercy upon me, guide me, grant me well-being, and provide for me.
