I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah from the evil of what He has created.
O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, goodly provision, and accepted deeds.
O Allah, I ask You for the goodness of this night, its opening, its help, its light, its blessings, and its guidance. And I seek refuge in You from the evil of this night and the evil of what comes after it.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from anxiety and sorrow, I seek refuge in You from incapacity and laziness, I seek refuge in You from cowardice and stinginess, and I seek refuge in You from being overwhelmed by debt and overpowered by men.
I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah from His anger and His punishment, from the evil of His servants, and from the temptations of devils and their [evil] presence.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from distress and sorrow, and I seek refuge in You from incapacity and laziness, and I seek refuge in You from cowardice and stinginess, and I seek refuge in You from being overcome by debt and being subdued by men.
