O Allah, forgive the Muslim men and Muslim women, and the believing men and believing women, those who are alive among them and those who are dead.
O Allah, guide me among those whom You have guided. Grant me well-being among those whom You have granted well-being. Take me into Your care among those whom You have taken into Your care. Bless me in what You have given me. Protect me from the evil of what You have decreed, for indeed You decree and no one decrees against You. Indeed, he is not humiliated whom You have supported. Blessed and Exalted are You, our Lord.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from anxiety and sorrow, I seek refuge in You from incapacity and laziness, I seek refuge in You from cowardice and stinginess, and I seek refuge in You from the burden of debt and the subjugation of men.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from anxiety and sorrow, I seek refuge in You from helplessness and laziness, I seek refuge in You from cowardice and stinginess, and I seek refuge in You from being overwhelmed by debt and by the oppression of men.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the punishment of the grave, and I seek refuge in You from the trial of the Dajjal, and I seek refuge in You from the trial of life and death. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from sin and debt. It was said: How often you seek refuge from these words! He said: When a man is in debt, he speaks and lies, and makes a promise and breaks it.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the่ต of Your blessings, the่ต of Your well-being, the่ต of Your sudden punishment, and all that You are displeased with. O Allah, make for me a light in my heart, and in my sight, and in my hearing, and on my right, and on my left, and above me, and beneath me, and before me, and behind me, and make for me a light.
O Allah, guide me to the best of manners, for none can guide to the best of them but You. And turn away from me the evil of them, for none can turn away the evil of them but You.
O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your maidservant. My forelock is in Your hand. Your command over me is executed. Your judgment upon me is just. I ask You by every name that You have called Yourself, or taught to any one of Your creation, or revealed in Your Book, or have preserved in the knowledge of the unseen with You, that You make the Quran the springtime of my heart, the light of my chest, the banisher of my sadness, and the reliever of my worries.
O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your maidservant. My forelock is in Your hand. Your command over me is forever executed. Your judgment upon me is just. I ask You by every name belonging to You, which You have named Yourself, or revealed in Your Book, or taught to any of Your creation, or have preserved in the knowledge of the unseen with You, that You make the Qur'an the delight of my heart, and the light of my chest, and a banisher of my grief, and a reliever of my anxiety.
Glory be to You, O Allah, and praise be to You. Blessed be Your name, and exalted be Your majesty. There is no god but You.
