Duas and remedies for controlling anger
O Allah, I ask You for patience in Your decree, and the means to deal with trials, and gratitude for Your blessings, and a near relief, and lasting well-being. I ask You for a heart that fears You, a tongue that remembers You, sincerity in conviction, and repentance before death. O Allah, ease upon me the throes of death, and salvation from the Fire, and forgiveness at the time of reckoning.
O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, goodly provision, and acceptable deeds.
I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah from the evil of what He has created.
I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah from His anger and His punishment, and from the evil of His servants, and from the whisperings of devils, and from their being present.
I seek refuge with Allah from the accursed Shaytan.
O Allah, I hope for Your mercy, so do not leave me to myself for the blink of an eye, and set right all my affairs. There is no god but You.
O Allah, Lord of the heavens and Lord of the earth, our Lord and Lord of all things, the Cleaver of the grain and the date stone, the Revealer of the Torah, the Gospel, and the Criterion (Quran)! I seek refuge in You from the evil of every creature You are seizing by its forelock. O Allah, You are the First, so there is nothing before You; You are the Last, so there is nothing after You; You are the apparent, so there is nothing above You; You are the hidden, so there is nothing nearer than You. Settle my debt and enrich me from poverty.
O Allah, forgive me, have mercy on me, guide me, protect me (give me well-being), and provide for me.
O Allah, I ask You for Your gentleness, Your mercy, Your guidance, Your provision, and Your well-being.
O Allah, Lord of the heavens and the earth, Lord of all things, the One who causes the grain and the date-stone to split and sprout, the Revealer of the Torah, the Gospel, and the Qur'an. I seek refuge in You from the evil of every evil-doer whose forelock You are holding. O Allah, You are the First, and there is nothing before You; You are the Last, and there is nothing after You; You are the Mostๆพ (Zahir), and there is nothing above You; You are the Most Hidden (Batin), and there is nothing nearer than You. Pay off my debt and rid me of poverty.
I seek refuge in Allah from the accursed Satan.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the evil of my hearing, and from the evil of my sight, and from the evil of my tongue, and from the evil of my heart, and from the evil of my semen.
