O Allah, grant us rain! O Allah, grant us rain! O Allah, grant us rain!
O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, goodly provision, and acceptable deeds.
May Allah bless you in your newborn, may you be grateful to the Giver, may he reach the age of maturity, and may you be granted his righteousness.
O Allah, I ask You for guidance, piety, chastity, and contentment (or richness).
In Allah's name we enter, and in Allah's name we exit, and in our Lord we place our trust.
My Lord, enable me to be grateful for Your favor which You have bestowed upon me and upon my parents and to do righteousness of which You approve. And admit me by Your mercy into [the ranks of] Your righteous servants.
O Allah, I ask You to enable me to do good deeds, abandon evil deeds, love the poor, and forgive me and have mercy on me. And when You intend to put a people to trial, take me to Yourself without putting me to trial. I ask You for Your love, and the love of those who love You, and the love of deeds which bring me closer to Your love.
O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, pure provisions, and accepted deeds.
O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your maidservant. My forelock is in Your hand. Your command over me is ever effective. Your judgment over me is just. I ask You by every name that You have called Yourself, that You have taught to any one of Your creation, or revealed in Your Book, or have preserved in the knowledge of the unseen with You, that You make the Quran the springtime of my heart, and the light of my chest, the banisher of my grief, and the reliever of my anxiety.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the punishment of Hellfire, and I seek refuge in You from the punishment of the grave. I seek refuge in You from the trial of the Dajjal, and I seek refuge in You from the trials of life and death.
I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah from the evil of what He has created.
O Allah, I seek Your guidance [in deciding] with Your knowledge, and I seek ability [to fulfill] with Your power, and I ask from Your immense grace. For indeed, You have power and I have no power; You have knowledge and I have no knowledge; and You are the Knower of the unseen. O Allah, if You know that this matter – specify it (the education of my son/daughter) – is good for me in my religion, my livelihood, and the end of my affairs (or: in my present and future matters), then decree it for me, make it easy for me, and bless it for me. And if You know that this matter is evil for me in my religion, my livelihood, and the end of my affairs (or: in my present and future matters), then turn it away from me and turn me away from it, and decree for me that which is good wherever it may be, and make me satisfied with it.
