Seeking Allah's Mercy on the Day of Judgment

After Prayer
Hasan HadithSunan At-Tirmidhi 2913

O Allah, I ask You to enable me to do good deeds, abandon evil deeds, love the poor, and forgive me and have mercy on me. And when You intend to put a people to trial, take me to Yourself without putting me to trial. I ask You for Your love, and the love of those who love You, and the love of deeds which bring me closer to Your love.

Allahumma inni as'aluka fi'la khayrat, wa tarkal munkarat, wa hubbal masakin, wa an taghfir li, wa tarhamani, wa idha aradta fitnatan fi qawmin fa tawaffani ilayha ghaira maftun. Wa as'aluka hubbaka, wa hubba man yuhibbuk, wa hubba 'amalin yuqarribuni ila hubbik.
