In the name of Allah we enter, and in the name of Allah we leave, and in Allah our Lord we place our trust. O Allah, I ask of You the best of entrance and the best of exit. In the name of Allah we enter, and in the name of Allah we leave, and in Allah our Lord we place our trust. O Allah, open for us the doors of Your goodness, the doors of Your grace, and the doors of Your provision.
In the name of Allah. O Allah, protect him/her from every devil, every harmful creature, and every envious eye.
All praise is for Allah, who revived us after He caused us to die, and to Him is the resurrection.
All praise is for Allah in every state, and I ask Him for an increase in faith and certainty, and I seek refuge in Allah from the accursed devil.
O Allah, forgive our living and our dead, those who are present among us and those who are absent, our young and our old, our males and our females. O Allah, whoever You keep alive among us, keep him alive upon Islam, and whoever You cause to die among us, cause him to die upon faith. O Allah, do not deprive us of his reward and do not let us go astray after him.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from helplessness and laziness, from cowardice and old age, and from stinginess. And I seek refuge in You from the punishment of the grave, and from the trials of life and death.
O Allah, suffice me with Your lawful provision instead of Your unlawful provision, and enrich me by Your grace, so that I may not need anyone other than You.
O Allah, I seek guidance from Your knowledge, and I seek power from Your power, and I ask of Your abundant grace. For indeed You decree and I do not decree, and You know and I do not know, and You are the Knower of the unseen. O Allah, if You know that this matter – (mention your need here) – is good for me in my religion, my livelihood, and the outcome of my affairs – (and in another narration: in my present and future affairs) – then decree it for me, make it easy for me, and bless it for me. O Allah, and if You know that this matter – (mention your need here) – is evil for me in my religion, my livelihood, and the outcome of my affairs – (and in another narration: in my present and future affairs) – then turn it away from me and turn me away from it, and decree for me whatever is good, and make me satisfied with it.
O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, good provisions, and deeds that are accepted.
O Allah, I ask You to accept my deeds, both by night and by day.
In the name of Allah we enter, and in the name of Allah we leave, and in Allah, our Lord, we place our trust.
Praise be to Allah, [praiseworthy] with an abundant, pure, and blessed praise. Our Lord is [always] sufficient, [His favors] are never to be relinquished, and He is [always] to be relied upon.
