O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your maidservant. My forelock is in Your hand. Your command over me is ever effective, and Your judgment over me is just. I ask You by every name that You have called Yourself, or taught to anyone in Your creation, or revealed in Your Book, or have preserved in the knowledge of the unseen with You, that You make the Qur'an the spring of my heart, and the light of my chest, the banisher of my sadness, and the reliever of my worries.
O Allah, expand my chest for me, and ease my task for me, and loosen the knot from my tongue, that they may understand my speech.
O Allah, You are my Lord, there is none worthy of worship except You. You created me, and I am Your servant, and I am abiding by Your covenant and promise as much as I can. I seek refuge in You from the evil of what I have done. I acknowledge Your blessings upon me, and I acknowledge my sins. So forgive me, for indeed, none forgives sins except You.
O Allah, I ask You for the deeds of goodness, and abandoning evil deeds, and loving the poor, and for You to forgive me and have mercy upon me. And when You intend a trial for a people, then let me die [a death] without being tested by it. I ask You for Your love, and the love of those who love You, and the love of the deed that brings me closer to Your love.
O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, pure provision, and accepted deeds.
O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your maidservant. My forelock is in Your Hand. Your command over me is forever executed. Your decree concerning me is just. I ask You by every name that You have called Yourself, or revealed to anyone from Your creation, or sent down in Your Book, or that You have preserved in the knowledge of the unseen with You, that You make the Quran the springtime of my heart, and the light of my chest, the banisher of my grief, and the remover of my worries.
All praise is due to Allah Who has clothed me with this garment and provided it for me, without any strength or power from myself.
O Allah, forgive me and my parents, and have mercy upon them as they brought me up when I was young.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the passing away of Your favors, and from the change of Your protection, and from the sudden affliction of Your wrath, and from all that You are displeased with. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the evil of what I have done and from the evil of what I have not done.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the evil of my hearing, and from the evil of my sight, and from the evil of my heart, and from the evil of my semen/private parts.
O Allah, forgive my sin, remove the anger from my heart, and protect me from the misleading trials.
O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your female servant. My forelock is in Your hand. Your command over me is ever effective. Your justice over me is assured.
