اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي ذَنْبِي، وَأَذْهِبْ غَيْظَ قَلْبِي، وَأَجِرْنِي مِنْ مُضِلاَّتِ الفِتَنِ
O Allah, forgive my sin, remove the anger from my heart, and protect me from the misleading trials.
Allahumma-ghfir li dhambi, wa adzhib ghayẓa qalbi, wa ajirni min muḍillatil fitan.

Narrated Abdullah ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him): The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: 'There is no one who is struck by anything in this world, and says: Allahumma-ghfir li dhambi, wa adzhib ghayẓa qalbi, wa ajirni min muḍillatil fitan – O Allah, forgive my sin, remove the anger from my heart, and protect me from the misleading trials – except that Allah will forgive him and guard him from the mischief of the world and the like of it.'
