Duas for sincere repentance and turning back to Allah
O Allah, I ask You for sincere repentance, and I ask You for the resolve to uphold it. And I ask You to forgive me my entire sin, its minor and major, its first and last, its public and private.
O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your maidservant. My forelock is in Your hand. Your decree concerning me is executed. Your judgment upon me is just. I ask You by every name belonging to You, which You have assumed to Yourself, or had taught to any one of Your creation, or had revealed in Your Book, or had preserved in the knowledge of the unseen with You, that You make the Qur'an the spring of my heart, and the light of my chest, and a banisher of my grief, and a reliever of my anxiety.
O Allah, forgive me for what I have committed in the past and what I will do in the future, for what I have concealed and what I have done openly, and what I have exceeded in (committing sins). And forgive me for what You know better about me than I do. You are the One Who brings forth (whom You will), and You are the One Who delays (whom You will). There is no god but You.
My Lord, indeed I seek refuge in You, lest I ask of You that of which I have no knowledge. And unless You forgive me and have mercy upon me, I will be among the losers.
My Lord, forgive me and my parents and whoever enters my home as a believer and all believing men and women.
"O Turner of the hearts, keep my heart firm upon Your religion and upon Your obedience."
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from associating any partner with You knowingly, and I seek Your forgiveness for what I associate with You unknowingly.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the disappearance of Your blessings, the reversal of Your well-being, the suddenness of Your vengeance, and all Your displeasure.
O Allah, I ask You for guidance, piety, chastity, and richness.
O Allah, I ask You for sincere repentance.
Our Lord, do not impose blame upon us if we have forgotten or erred. Our Lord, and lay not on us a burden great as that which You laid on those before us. Our Lord, and burden us not with that which we have no strength to bear. And pardon us; and forgive us, and have mercy upon us. You are our protector, so give us victory over the disbelieving people.
My Lord, forgive me, my parents, my household, and whoever enters my home as a believer, and all believing men and believing women.
