Duas for the blessed month, iftar, suhoor, and Laylatul Qadr
O Allah, teach me guidance, make me understand religion, and make me knowledgeable in its interpretation.
"The thirst is gone, the veins are moistened, and the reward is confirmed, if Allah wills."
O Allah, I ask You to enable me to do good deeds, abandon evil deeds, and to love the poor and needy. I ask You to forgive me and have mercy on me. And when You intend to try Your servants, take me to Yourself without putting me to trial.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from helplessness and laziness, and I seek refuge in You from cowardice and old age, and I seek refuge in You from the burden of debt and from the oppression of men.
O Allah, help me in fasting and praying [during its nights], and make my heart and body inclined [to worship].
O Allah, I ask You for forgiveness and well-being in this world and the Hereafter. O Allah, I ask You for forgiveness and well-being in my religion, my worldly affairs, my family, and my wealth. O Allah, conceal my faults and comfort my fears. O Allah, protect me from before me, from behind me, from my right, from my left, and from above me, and I seek refuge in Your magnificence from being taken from beneath me.
O Allah, I ask You for faith that fills my heart, and true certainty, so that I know that nothing will afflict me except what You have decreed for me, and contentment with what You have portioned out for me. And make the Great Quran the springtime of my heart, the light of my chest, the remover of my sorrow, and the banisher of my worries.
O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, good provision, and acceptable deeds.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the punishment of the grave, and I seek refuge in You from the trial of the False Christ (Dajjal), and I seek refuge in You from the trial of life and death. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from sin and debt.
The best of supplication is on the Day of Arafah, and the best of what I and the Prophets before me have said is: Glory be to Allah and all praise is due to Him.
O Allah, You are the One who forgives greatly, and You love to forgive, so forgive me.
