Duas directly from the Holy Quran
O Creator of the heavens and the earth, You are my protector in this world and the hereafter. Cause me to die as a Muslim and join me with the righteous.
Indeed, affliction has touched me, and you are the Most Merciful of the merciful.
Our Lord, forgive us and our brothers who preceded us in faith and do not place in our hearts resentment toward those who have believed. Our Lord, indeed You are Kind and Merciful.
My Lord, support me against the corrupting people.
Our Lord, do not impose blame upon us if we have forgotten or erred. Our Lord, and do not place upon us a burden great as You placed upon those before us. Our Lord, and relieve us not of responsibility for what is beyond our capacity. And pardon us; and forgive us; and have mercy upon us. You are our protector, so give us victory over the disbelieving people.
He said, "My Lord, prison is more preferable to me than that to which they invite me. And if You do not avert from me their plotting, I will be inclined toward them and be among the ignorant."
Our Lord, forgive us and our brothers who preceded us in faith and do not place in our hearts any rage for those who have believed. Our Lord, indeed You are Kind and Merciful.
My Lord, enable me to be grateful for Your favor which You have bestowed upon me and upon my parents and to do righteousness of which You approve. And admit me by Your mercy into [the ranks of] Your righteous servants.
In the name of Allah, the One with Whose name nothing can cause harm, whether on earth or in the heavens, and He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing.
Our Lord, and make us [for You] Muslims, and [our descendants] a Muslim ummah from our descendants. And show us our rites and accept our repentance. Indeed, You are the Accepting of repentance, the Merciful.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from worry and grief, I seek refuge in You from helplessness and laziness, I seek refuge in You from cowardice and stinginess, and I seek refuge in You from the burden of debt and the overpowering of men.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from knowledge that does not benefit, from a heart that does not fear [You], from a soul that is not satisfied, and from a supplication that is not heard.
