Duas directly from the Holy Quran
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the severe trials, the attainment of misery, the evil of decrees, and the rejoicing of enemies.
Guide us to the straight path.
And [remember] when Abraham said, 'My Lord, make this a secure city and provide its people with fruits โ those among them who believe in Allah and the Last Day.'
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Say: 'I seek refuge in the Lord of the dawn, from the evil of all that He has created, and from the evil of the darkening night as it falls, and from the evil of those who practice sorcery when they blow into the knots, and from the evil of the envier when he envies.'
Our Lord, give us in this world [that which is] good and in the Hereafter [that which is] good and protect us from the punishment of the Fire.
Our Lord, grant us from among our wives and our offspring the delight of our eyes and make us an example to the righteous.'
Our Lord, decide between us and our people by the truth, and You are the best of those who decide.
My Lord, forgive me and grant me a kingdom such as will not be attained by anyone after me. Indeed, You are the Bestower.
He said, "My Lord, prison is preferred to me over that to which they invite me. And if You do not turn from me their trickery, I will incline towards them and be of the ignorant."
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from grief and sadness, I seek refuge in You from helplessness and laziness, I seek refuge in You from cowardice and stinginess, and I seek refuge in You from the burden of debt and the overpowering of men.
"O Allah, purify me with water, snow, and hail. Cleanse me from sins just as a white garment is cleansed from dirt. And keep me away from my sins just as You have kept the East and West far apart."
